Hair highlights: Add a blank later (Ctrl-Shift-N) and using a light color,

1. create the highlight block.

2. use an eraser.

3. using brush A, smudge the highlight. Usually 90% is best. 100% drags too much.

Since you will be doing this another layer, you can reduce the opacity while working on it.

On this step, I used B brush, color burn to add some dark strands. I normally do not use color burn as it effects are very noticable, but I wanted the image to have a loose feel to it.

Using D brush, multiply mode, I colored in the sweater. I also played around with color burn. It creates such rich saturation. Very pretty.

I also erased some of the highlight areas of the hair and dodged it to make it brighter.

Finish off with some improv quick and dirty texture brushes.
